We love Tarvin nursery and pre-school! The wonderful staff provide a fantastic range of fun learning opportunities, and it’s clear that they know each child well by the way in which children’s specific interests are incorporated into the day-to-day activities. We particularly like how much time the children are able to spend outside in the ‘forest’; this is great for their physical development and understanding of the natural world. Our son really enjoys going to nursery and talks enthusiastically about all the staff and about what he has done each day.

Dear Tarvin Nursery and Preschool, I really appreciate the opportunity to tell you how much we are enjoying sending my little girl. She really loves going to school and can’t wait to go each time. The nursery is such a great setting with so many different activities that keep the children engaged and excited every day. The staff are truly wonderful—so caring and attentive. We’ve seen such positive growth and development since our little girl has been attending.

Staff at tarvin pre school and day nursery have always gone above and beyond to help support me and my son, who has additional needs. they’ve always ensured that my son has an opportunity to learn at his own pace in his own ways, which have helped him to thrive! my son was non verbal up to the age of four, and now with the support of myself and his one to one and sendco at tarvin nursery, and other staff, he’s talking a lot and can count to 100 with little support. my son has built an amazing bond with his one to one and staff at tarvin pre school and day nursery, and he’s always so excited to go to nursery to see the staff and his friends. I’m very appreciative of the help and support the staff at tarvin pre school and day nursery have given us, and I’ll always be grateful that they’ve helped me give my son the best start to life. they’ve also helped me with getting my son an EHCP- something that will stay with him up until early adulthood! I’m genuinely very thankful. thank you to all the staff at tarvin pre school and day nursery!!!

Autumn loves the nursery , and the ladies autumn as made some friends she’s come along way . Her confidence as grown likes every thing she does there talks about it all the time . Autumn is trying to write at the moment her name likes reading books in her own way .

Elsie-May runs into school very popular enjoys all that she does there tells us what she’s been doing . Painting likes the school dinners , loves food likes the ladies that look after her made friends . Elsie as come along way , loves getting messy likes the forest club .

“My wife and I had never sent our daughter to be looked after by anyone other than family. However, at the age of two and three months we decided that Anna would benefit from being in a school environment. We looked around a number of local pre-schools and nurseries but instantly felt that Tarvin provided all the things we wanted from a pre-school. We felt it ticked every box with no compromises. We feel that Anna has thrived at Tarvin. The pre-school is exceptionally well run, it offers a great indoor and outdoor environment and the children are given lots of opportunities to explore outside and to engage in different experiences such as trips to the zoo, pantomime shows, sports and ballet classes. The effort that all the teaching staff put in is easy to see. Anna tells us every day what she has been learning about and what she has had fun doing. We feel lucky that Anna is able to attend a pre-school where she feels safe, secure, happy and excited to be part of. We know that her little brother James will be just as happy when his time comes.”

“Like all parents, we were a little anxious about sending our two year old daughter to Preschool but we didn’t need to worry – Tarvin Preschool is fantastic and she loved it from day one. It has a warm and friendly feel and the staff genuinely care about the children. Our daughter has bonded extremely well with all the staff and we couldn’t ask for more in terms of the support, attention and learning opportunities she receives. The Preschool plans lots of varied activities for the children from trips, local visits, forest school, ballet and putting on Christmas and Summer concerts and it’s clear our daughter enjoys going as she always talks happily about her day with a smile. We are regularly provided newsletters, topic webs, assessment reports and next steps which are personalised and as a result our daughter is making very pleasing progress across all seventeen areas of learning.”

We are so happy with Jack’s experience at Tarvin Pre-School since he started in September. He is always happy when we pick him up and full of stories from his day. He has thrived since starting there.

The staff are friendly and personable and the activities they do with the children are great.

As a parent we feel really connected through the parent app with lots of photos and continual updates on his development.
